This art installation on a busy Kortrijk street challenges the idea of the kiosk as a showcase for advertisements and instead reveals what they really are: framed, empty spaces. We inserted a large mirror and aluminum surfaces onto an existing kiosk that reflect images of the surrounding city to passersby. A film projected on the vitrines shows the kiosk being transformed into the installation. The result is a public art piece that fuses space and context, inviting viewers to experience new perspectives of their daily experiences.
